West Park is a residential aged care facility in Goolwa, South Australia, designed to accommodate 60 residents. It features 25 standard high and low care places, 24 secure memory loss places for those with dementia, 10 low care one-bedroom cottages, and 1 respite place.
The facility was established in 1989 and renovated in 2001, maintaining its original design. It provides a range of services including Healthy Ageing programs, alternate therapies, access to allied health professionals, a chaplain, and regular GP and pharmacy services. Additional amenities include a gymnasium, entertainment options, a mobile library, gardening assistance, and a transport bus/van, all aimed at promoting a community-focused, active lifestyle for its residents.
No Accommodation fee for respite
You will only pay the Basic daily fee and may pay an additional services fee.
Concessional residents welcome
ACH Group West Park Residential Services supports eligible government funded residents with subsidised fees.
Instead of paying a RAD you can choose to pay a Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) which is a non-refundable daily fee, based on the room price and the maximum permissable interest rate set by the Department of Health and Aged Care.
