My dad was palliative in hospital and I contacted The Vales to try to get him transferred there so he could be as peaceful as possible in his last few days. They were beyond accommodating. Having a room ready within literally hours from my call. Unfortunately the hospital dad was in, blocked his transfer to anywhere and he was unable to leave, but the staff at The Vales were still so understanding and kind and really tried their hardest to help in a pretty horrific situation. I am so grateful for all of their hard work, care, and empathy. This is the only place I would ever consider sending someone I love because their facilities, their staff, their rooms, and their food are amazing. If you're looking for somewhere to send your loved one, look no further than The Vales.
My husband was admitted to this place for a weekend of respite. He was very unwell and in considerable pain. He was offered much in the way of food or drink. In fact ignored for most of the few days that he was there. When he was returned home to us it was obvious that he hadn’t received his everyday meds and only randomly received his pain relief meds. Many of the staff are difficult to understand as English isn’t their first language. Elderly people would have great difficulty in trying to understand instructions from some of the staff. Sorry I certainly wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
I am absolutely disgusted with the level of care my mum recieved in the short time she was at this facility. She was at the facility for 6 days. During this time mum waited 30minutes to be taken to the toilet. On a number of occasions she was told that she should just do it in her pad and they will clean her up later because they are busy. There is a roaming dementia patient that went into mums room and went rifling through her belongings. When she asked for assistance she was told "what can we do about it". On discharge I was spoken to rudely and told mum was discharging last minute and could I collect the meds during her admission to another facility. When I responded that I had to return home after mum was admitted to care for my 4 children the nurse muttered under her breath. Thankfully the new facility was kind enough to organise meds for the rest of the day. This place is cold and hostile and I wouldn't leave anyone I care about here. Even ringing the place you are made to feel like an inconvenience. If I could give 0 I would
I love coming to visit All Care Aged Care, the front garden looks great and cant wait to take my mum to the new Cafe. All the staff are always so happy and welcoming, and the residents seem to thrive in all the great common areas. Keep up the good work guys.
I have nothing but praise for the great staff at The Vales dad is being looked after with great respect and care. The food is always off a high standard and the sweets my dear dad loves. as well as the soup and if you want more you just ask no matter what time it is nothing is to much trouble. There is always someone cleaning the rooms the cleaners chat away with all residence and know them well. The staff at the entrance are so helpful always welcoming every time I go there they are always chatting away the environment is just like a home welcoming, caring, clean and entertaining. My expectations are high and I would recommend this to anyone considering looking for a home for there loved ones. Thanks to all the staff at The Vales
