My mother is deaf and for the last year now they have not been replacing her hearing aid battery's. Countless complaints to management but still a year on I Goto visit my mother and she still can't hear a thing. It's neglect, taking away her human rights and is borderline restraint. Have also had staff swear at me telling me to get f'd. I do not recommend this place. Be careful!

My mother was a resident of Storm village in Taree up until yesterday, sadly we lost her. I would like to thank all of the staff, from admin, kitchen, dr nurses physio etc for all their wonderful support and care they provided mum whilst she was here. Mum went from being at home by herself for many years to moving into the home, which was one thing she never wanted to do ,in November last year, participating in many of their daily activities , learning new things and meeting some wonderful residents and staff. Her room was lovely, bright sunny and comfortable with a great view, there are many places on the site that I was able to take her out and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine and the staff and volunteers would always pop in to see her inviting her to participate in the days activity or just for a quick chat. She always talked about the food and how lovely it was and always loved her sweets. Mum had many health problems physically and the nurses were always attentive to her needs. The home always kept me in the loop in any changes that they had made to help her ,always confirming with me if we are ok with the changes, and are very approachable and open to receiving constructive feed back. Thank you all for your help and support kind words during our sad time.
