Absolutely disgusting treatment of your residents
Don't be fooled by the glitz and glamour. A beautiful facade which is not representative of the care provided. Arcare Caboolture is chronically understaffed. If the incredibly sad and un-necessary food wastage was stopped, perhaps more funds could be put towards employing people. The amount of food that gets thrown out each day is criminal. Less food and better quality is what the residents deserve. And care staff who aren't run off their feet all day. It's a sad place.
My Mum spent her last few months at Arcare Caboolture under Palliative care. All the Staff and Residents were fantastic and made Mum's last months fun, comfortable and gave her the utmost care and respect. It was the best decision we made as a family for Mum. I can't thank everyone enough. Thank you Corinna deVeth and families.
I have a friend in Arcare Caboolture. I find the staff fantastic but unfortunately because of the greed of the higher management they are very short staffed. Last week my friend waited for 40 minutes to be attended to. They then helped him onto the toilet and then left him there for another 35 minutes. This is a common occurence. Families pay a lot of money to have their loved ones looked after in these places and they are not getting value for money. More staff please
