My late Mum Ailsa loved Arcare at Seven Hills and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and the care and compassion that was shown to mum during her two years as a resident. I was always kept informed of Mum's health and as she declined mentally and physically I received sometimes more than one phone call a day to keep me up-to-date. Many of the staff expressed their sadness to me on her passing. The most beautiful aged care facility - not only in appearance but more importantly beautiful care for the residents.

Arcare seven hills is a beautiful facility but communication is sadly lacking. My mother was there for 18 months before her passing in April. She has severe dementia which eventually killed her. On a whole the staff were very caring but had no time to really support their clients. In the end mum passed away alone at 8.30 at night and we were not given any warning so I could be with her. They were only concerned with arrangements to get her body removed that night. None of the staff were ever informed of mum's passing and were shocked when they heard from me several days later when we cleared out her room. Arcare never contacted us again. No sorry for your loss. Nothing. It was as though mum was never there. When we called in June to finalize mum's estate not even Sarah who handles sales of rooms was aware mum had died. A very impersonal experience.☹️

My dad moved into Arcare Seven Hills in January. He has Alzheimer's and gets very confused and upset. The staff at Arcare have been absolutely amazing in caring and supporting him as an individual, not just another resident. I was warned that sometimes the fancy looking places look fabulous, but the staff let them down. That's definitely not the case with Arcare Seven Hills. It's a beautiful environment that is backed up by beautiful staff who work set rosters so you and your loved ones can always liaise with the same friendly team. I feel nothing but relief and gratitude that dad is safe and cared for and happy. If I could give more stars I would! Carol

On behalf of our father William Braund our family would like to pass on our appreciation to the staff who cared for dad on a daily basis and their professional and personal integrity. To Aubrey, Holly, Elysse, Suri, Juyong, Sue, Raymond, John, Monique, Robina, Raymond, Allei, Dr Ash and the many others that touched dad's life in the time he was with you we are forever grateful. It is not easy to make the decision to place a loved one in care but your staff made this process very seamless and we always felt that dad was well taken care, love and nurtured even when there were times he found it difficult to be in a care facility. We are grateful that we chose not to send dad to hospital in his last days instead choosing to keep him with the ones that had taken such great care of him for the last several months. Thank you for allowing us to be with him under the COVID restrictions so we could be with him as he passed over. Your staff were always respectful, decent and kind and we felt very supported in those last hours. Our dad, Bill was a wonderful gentle, cheeky man and having dementia was a horrible disease that sometimes took away the qualities we so loved about him. We know that your staff treated dad for the gentle and kind soul he was and for that we thank you.
