Very clean freindly helpful staff
Residents are well looked after. Just placed my mum there ( she has dementia) and they are looking after her very well.👏👏👏👏
Staff are on the whole, friendly and helpful, bit communication between them and relatives of people in there, not very good. And different communication when speaking to different members of staff. Usual doctor is very slack in seeing parients, and meals are awful and sub- standard. Rooms aren't cleaned thoroughly..Only a quick top clean, and family members rather than staff have to chase up Specialist and other appointments.
I would like to thank the staff for the wonderful care they gave our mother ,Norma Afflick in the thirteen months that she was a resident at Ashwood. The compassion and concern shown to our mother was very much appreciated . Ashwood became her home .A place where she was safe and her every need was attended to. It gave us peace of mind and we will be forever grateful.
I know someone who lives there and I visit them often. It is a beautiful place, like a sanctuary. It is safe and well looked after.
