Mum wen't into Aurrum Healesville six weeks ago, and she is as happy as I have seen her in years. The staff are excellent, nothing is to much trouble for them and they appear to genuinely car for the residents. They go on outings and send photo's of Mum to me, Mum is enjoying the inhouse activities and the company and conversation. The management is proffesional and helpful and it flows through to the staff. All in all it is better than I could have hoped for.

My mother lived there for 4 years. She was loved and cared for in that time, sadly We were unaware of the extent of that love until she passed away. The staff looked after us with love and respect. Visiting mum often with tears in their eyes. They provided a haven where we could grieve our way and nothing was too much trouble, no matter what time of the day or night it was. The wonderful staff We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Too many to name and I don’t want to miss anyone out. Peter. Thank you. With love Betty Wilson’s family.

This facility is hell on earth. The memory support wing is more like a jail , the rooms are often dirty and residents are left unwashed sometimes for several days. Complaints are not followed up properly and they are not trained to look after palliative patients

The care of the residents is excellent with relationships built by carers and exercise (often with a physio) and activities occur daily. The manager knows all the resident's personal health concerns himself. Wonderful Christmas and New Years Eve parties were held with family invited with excellent quality food, drink and entertainment provided. Even a novelty photo both was provided which was a great laugh. Residents can decorate their private rooms as they like, with a shared ensuite between two rooms. Apparently some couples are able to have shared accommodation. Only negative is sometimes the cleaners miss bins, toilets and don't change the table cloths between meals which is important because the residents often spill their food. No personal photos will be posted out of respect for residents.
