Disappointed that l kept asking staff to charge mum's phone it took 3 days then not charged again calling nurse station 1st floor phone is always engaged ? Mum's clothes go missing.
Lovely place, beautiful environment, shame about management and staff. They are always short staffed, communications with hand over staff is very poor if any, and food is terrible. Been fighting with management for one year now. You would think they would get it together by now... Over the fighting telling them what they should do to improve. Don't go there, you will be battling for ever with them to get things done right. So many residents unhappy there. Don't believe the 5 star ratings, all from staff. Run and stay away if you love your family member.
Good aged care accommodation facility. Main entry doorway access arrangements could be improved.
Our family " lucked " upon this facility as it was not really advertised being a new facility ( opened 2018 ) . When we done the " family walk through " with Tasha it ticked all the boxes , eg Can we visit at 8 o'clock at night ? tick ! Can we bring in things to make my Mums room look more homely ? tick ! Can we take my Mother out for the night or two and bring her back the next day ? tick ! not only ticked but in fact encouraged . All social interaction is encouraged in this facility , the residents are given a weekly day by day roster of the activities and are encouraged by the staff to participate which they do . My Mother is diagnosed with Dementia and since she has been there ( approx 6 months ) I must say her health has picked up because she has things to do now . They have an " excursion " bus trip ( they have their own mini bus that can accommodate a wheelchair ) every Tuesday and sometimes Thursday on a next in line bias . The meals , the meals I had to leave them to last , my Mum eats better than me , not only does the meals look and taste appetizing the variety is nothing short of spoilt for choice . One day my sister was there during afternoon tea and the staff where giving out Sausage Rolls and she said they were the best sausage rolls that she has tasted and I said to her yeah but they would just be from a frozen pack from the supermarket , and said no they were homemade . They have/allow Birthday parties in this facility and they have secure outdoor BBQ area in the center of the facility's courtyard . I had to do a review because the other reviews didn't do it any justice .
Very nice and clean ins and outs. People are amazing. Deserve 5star.
