Dad has been at Corowa Court for over 3 years. In that time everyone has been very friendly and caring. All staff know him and greet him by name, the care staff who ensure his wellbeing and the lifestyle staff who are amazing in their boundless energy and enthusiasm.
We transferred our 94 year old mother six months ago from another facility to be nearer to more of her family. Whilst it was always going to be a challenge for her to adjust to her new environment, the staff have been wonderfully supportive and caring and Mum is now very settled and happy. The facilities are excellent as is the care and follow up if we make any special requests. Many thanks from her living family.
Our father settled in quickly which is a credit to the friendly staff and management. He feels looked after and says he wants for nothing. Staff respect his wishes and are supportive of his needs. The facility provides areas for family to gather over a BBQ or in the gardens creating an enjoyable environment.
I live in Perth, and my mum has been living at Corowa Court for 5 years. In that time, the staff have taken the time to talk to me, at length, about mum, to learn who she was in her heyday, her past interests, likes and dislikes. As a result, the relationships formed between all of us has been nothing short of wonderful. The staff in Apartment 2 are my mum's new family. The love, kindness and respect they've shown mum and I have eased the pain in my heart of not being near mum as dementia slowly sucks the life out of her. My love and gratitude for the angels working in Aged Care goes beyond words.
Great nursing staff, terrible admin in head office. They charged nursing fees for my deceased father for several months after his passing. Provided unhelpful and unfriendly template responses via email when asked to correct their mistake.
