I had a placement here as an enrolled nurse and had a wonderful experience. The facility is beautiful and very well run. The staff are all very friendly helpful and caring. The residents are all very well looked after and seeing the ins and outs I would highly recommend BlueCross Hansworth to family and friends.
I did two weeks of placement at Bluecross Hansworth and the residents and the staff are hands down amazing and so lovely. The facility is so clean and everyone is so well looked after! Could not recommend this place more !
I did my Aged care placement here as a part of student Enrolled Nurse program from Holmesglen. I found this place amazing and it has such helpful staff. I learnt so many invaluable skills and got opportunity to meet some lovely residents. Thanks Sam
I still work at Hansworth . We are a team who care for everyone. I feel we dont see it enough online about the good experiences that famiies have. We see it each day with all the cards and well meaning letters we recieve. We see it each day with the smiles on the residents and staff faces.
This place is awful. My elderly father in law who 90, frail, prone to falls, and needs a lot of assistance, was left on the toilet for 20+ minutes without assistance. He then got fed up, and tried to get up himself, only to have a fall and fracture his hip, which put him in hospital, and potentially left him cripple for the remainder of his life, even if he lives through the surgery (surgeon's words, not ours). This was within 6 hours of his arrival for a TWO WEEK RESPITE stay. Then they had the gall to issue a $900 bill for the 6 hours he was there. AVOID THIS PLACE, unless management and staff are somehow held accountable, as this is unacceptable, and I am left wondering how many other residents they do this sort of thing to. Edit: So they sorted out the $900 bill as a "mistake" after the fact, and after my partner rang them, then they tried to hit them up for $130, but they waved that too. I'm keeping the original review up here just so people can be fully informed and make up their own mind. I'm not changing my rating though, this place is still woefully negligent, and I genuinely hope whoever was supposed to be looking after my father in law is punished for their negligence.
