Terrible nursing home, can’t deal with residents with dementia. So rude. Take your application, then give your bed away, without even explanation. Make you fill in all application forms, give you an interview, then don’t have the decency to let you know that they have given your bed away to someone else. Can’t obviously handle residents with dementia. Don’t even deserve a one star. Explanation that manager is too small and her staff are too small to deal with tall residents with dementia. Poor excuse. Why are they even practicing. What are they a hotel.
The staff here were lovely & were happy to give me any information I required. The gardens are lovely
A nice quiet place to retire. There is a nursing home attached. The gardens are well kept and always look lovely.
My mum and dad spent the last year's of their lives at Murrumba Downs. The care and kindness from all the staff to my parents was exceptional. They never stopped trying to improve the quality of their lives. Thank you.
My personal experience is Staff are not friendly to families visiting, particularly around meal times. It's hard to call your relatives or even make contact on the weekend if your family Member doesn't have their own phone. Not many interesting or stimulating outings for the elderly residents.
