Josh, his team and all members of memory support unit, thank you for welcoming us as family and always with a smile. You all have made mum's move very comfortable and easy. Before I even asked a question it was already taken care of. I know mum is looked after, safe, clean and fed. We now spend quality time in the garden. Thank you everyone, five stars are not enough for your help, you deserve the galaxy.
My father is in this bupa aged care they have relly looked after him he has only hours to go before he leaves this amazing place bupa aged sure he is looked after he will probably pass away very soon know but the staff are making it easier for him he is 85 years old
We were lucky enough for my 91 year old father to reside at Bupa Greensborough, in late 2019. This followed a rather long stint in hospital where he was on the brink of death for some time. He suffered from chronic respiratory issues (COPD), so required significant clinical care and oversight. The level of care and attention he received from the Bupa staff and a host of allied health professionals was exceptional. It significantly exceeded the care he received in hospital, which included a stint in palliative care. The level of resourcing was at odds with what I'd heard about the aged care industry generally, i.e. there was an abundant amount of nurses and carers. From the first contact we had with the Bupa Aged Care Placements Coordinator, Kylie Hardy, (who went 'over and above' to ensure that everything was in place for a smooth transition into the residence), we felt reassured that it was the 'right place' for him. The place itself isn't as new as other aged care facilities (not that it's old), but it was renovated during late 2019 / early 2020. There are some lovely features, particularly some inviting and relaxing outdoor garden areas, which are great for family visits on a sunny day. But decor aside, more importantly in our experience, the welfare and care of the residents is the foremost consideration of management.
