It seems quite nice. Staff are friendly, food is home cooked. I've only been there to visit a few times since my friend was admitted last Thursday.
I have nothing but praise for this facility. My husband has been a resident there for the last 18 months and he has been beautifully cared for at all times. It is a homely atmosphere and the staff are very caring to all residents and their families. The activities are broad ranging, and there is something happening every day. The home is run by a Manager who is passionate about aged care and together with her staff there is always a feeling of warmth and welcome when I visit and they have become a second family to me.
Never knew it existed. Have a relative in this location for palliative care. Just sad to see someone dying and having a slow death. What ever happened to a peaceful and dignafied death?
Just incredible, my brother was in palatable care until he passed, Cavalry allowed family in a special lounge to be with him until he passed. Just incredible compassion and support from staff, not one negative word! I've never experienced such hospitality and care!
I worked at this Facility for a total of 26 years. It always had a fabulous reputation. I was treated very unfairly regarding a violent resident under previous management. The care was always of very high standard. What everyone needs to realise is, all aged care facilities are understaffed, this does not excuse what one person did. However, why give a bad reputation to them. Until they move on and deserve it.
