I love coming to visit my Nana she's so cute and little. The place is kept nice and the staff are all polite. However quite often the milk in the fridge for visitors is always expired, theres usually no spoon or you can't find a cup. But it's ok that's not important, what is important is I feel like my quick witted, full of life, always on the go Nana is just dwindling there. 😢 it breaks my heart. She has no illness or anything preventing her apart from a walker but I feel like she's set up to sit in her chair and not move all day. Nothing to do, No activities, No face to face contact unless it's to be fed. While the food is nice it's gotten to the point where my Nana know what meat they served her because it's covered in gravy. She should be given healthier foods, taken on outings, for ppl who don't drive they should have a bus come and take them out for the day to bingo or something like that to keep the witts about them. I'm sorry I didn't mean to give such a long bad review, and this is my first bad one. Please so more to be involved and help ppl like my Nana live and not wait for... (I would be there more often but I'm an hour away which I had no choice in.)
I'll be here for respite and how I'm getting looked after is any indication I feel sorry for the residents what day we're on the place is clean food but yeah press the mother and error go to your assistance and I'm still waiting
No Accommodation fee for respite
You will only pay the Basic daily fee and may pay an additional services fee.
Concessional residents welcome
Calvary Roccoco supports eligible government funded residents with subsidised fees.
Instead of paying a RAD you can choose to pay a Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) which is a non-refundable daily fee, based on the room price and the maximum permissable interest rate set by the Department of Health and Aged Care.
