This is THE most beautiful aged care home I have ever seen!!! The services are the best. Three meals are served like fine dining, variety of food you can chose from: drinks, starters, then main courses, finish with three or two deserts. Three high teas are served each day on time. Lots of activities and you will never be bored. My mother started to learn sining after moving in, which was very good for her lung and heart. She's 86 years old this year, after moving for a month, I am not kidding, she looks like 70. The rooms are huge, much bigger than my bedroom in south yarra, with abundant of sunlight coming through the full glass window, it feels nice and warm. With state of arts equipments, it will prevent falls and provide safety to the elders. Mother gets showered everyday in the morning, I was so touched when I saw the nurses kneeing down, putting her socks on her feet. I know the driveway is not perfect, but the most important for the elders is the service and the lovely people in this home! I will be back, thank you all, Sandy, Britney, Christin and more..... See you soon. I would like to give this Home 10 stars if I could.
Great environment to work with. The staff are very nice and friendly. We received a proper orientation from them. They care for the non permanent staff and most especially, to their residents. Thank you😊😊🙏🏽
Sterile place, good size rooms, friendly staff
What a beautiful facility Japara is. Was there last week (from NSW) as a terminally ill dear friend was placed there after 4 weeks in hospital. I know he will be treated like a king from the attentive staff & the wonderful atmosphere it provides. I would recommend it to anyone.
Beautiful facility but the drive way ruins it
