Carinya Care Services is an extra service aged care facility with 40 beds, providing both single ensuite rooms and generously sized companion share rooms. The home features high-quality furnishings including armchairs with water/stain-resistant fabric, large flat-screen TVs, and homely ornaments throughout. There are multiple lush gardens with sensory features, water elements, and a gazebo.
The facility includes two large dining rooms accommodating up to 60 residents and a smaller one for 12. Friendly and caring staff who are helpful.
This nursing home is very unprofessional due to the fact that their permanent staff have tendencies to sleep during the night shifts, which neglect the care of their residents, where no supervision is provided to the frail and elderly residents. I have worked several shifts through an agency at this establishment, and was appalled by how they show lack of compassion and allow paid staff to sleep and neglecting the care of the residents where they are not supervising the residents at night. I would not recommend this facility.
