Our dad spent time in Respite at Della Dale. The staff were wonderful! Kind and compassionate and we felt dad was happy and comfortable. We had my 92yo father in respite care at Della Dale for 3 weeks after he received severe injuries from a fall at home and was discharged from hospital. We as a family were very happy with the level of care he received as was my father. Nishan and his team made efforts to include my father in all the activities which my father eventually participated in. He seemed so much happier having the social interaction. I herald this as one of the reasons my father got better so quickly, along with his own strong will. The communication and understanding from Nishan was excellent and commendable having to deal with so many questions, and at times demands, of an extra large family. Nishan and the team at Della Dale have taken exceptional care of my mother during her stay who has Parkinson's and dementia. They have gone out of their way to ensure the upmost care is provided to make her feel comfortable and included in activities. Della Dale has embraced ways of keeping in touch with your loved ones, especially in this current climate we are all in. FaceTime & WhatsApp has allowed this to happen. The staff and carers at Della Dale have taken exceptional care of my mother. She has Lewy Body Dementia and often experiences anxiety and confusion. Everyone involved in her care has treated her with respect, compassion and kindness. She is encouraged to participate in activities that help her remain active creatively and socially. Never did I feel that she was simply left in a room - instead I saw her engaged and nurtured. Seeing her in a painting session was a highlight for me. They also treated our family with patience and respect - even when we weren’t at our best. The staff are all so understanding. I cannot fault Della Dale. While it is not fancy, the home is clean and comfortable. Most importantly, it is a home full of kindness and love. That’s all you can ask for when entrusting the care of a loved one to someone else. Thank you to Nishan and the carers at Della Dale. I am forever grateful.
Our beautiful mum was so fortunate to spend some time with the team at Della dale aged care facility. Nishan and the team cared for her with such kindness, compassion and integrity. Nothing was too much trouble with daily face time calls arranged, constant communication and updates provided. They also created a wonderful selection of activities to keep her both engaged and socialised. We are saddened that her time here has come to an end as we are sure she will miss it too. No Accommodation fee for respite
You will only pay the Basic daily fee and may pay an additional services fee.
Concessional residents welcome
Della dale Aged Care supports eligible government funded residents with subsidised fees.
Instead of paying a RAD you can choose to pay a Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) which is a non-refundable daily fee, based on the room price and the maximum permissable interest rate set by the Department of Health and Aged Care.
Residents at Della dale Aged Care on average received 198 minutes of total daily care (84% target) from a combination of support workers, enrolled and registered nurses. In October 2024, a Registered Nurse was on site 24:00 hours per day.
