My aunt Lauretta was at Forest lodge for the last 3-4 years. Every time we visited the home was clean, my aunt was looked after very well, the staff were always friendly, always saying hello. When my aunt passed away last week, they made up her bed beautifully, her crotchet blanket on top, vase of flowers at the end of her bed and her Elvis music playing. Staff sat with her and other residents also sat with her for a while. Thank you for all the care you gave my aunt, it was much appreciated. Jodie
I was working More than 2 years I resigned my job 2 months ago still I didn't get my annual leave payment
Gave great care to my late Father. Thank you to the TLC aged care team.
Literally THE WORST PLACE you could possibly place a loved one. Do not do it!!!!! Disgusting treatment of residents.. my poor pa was incontinent and had an accident on the floor and the solution was to drop a towel over the puddle and towel dry his shoes. No mopping, just sleep in a room that stinks of urine. Staff getting frustrated and pushy. Just don’t do it! These people are being reported to the human rights commission.
The staff at Forest Lodge are lovely . But Forest Lodge is understaffed . So staff are ran off their feet . So very hard for them to give quality care. Management is not very supportive of their staff either . My mother was there for 7 years and in that time l have meet some lovely caring staff that looked after Mum well . But in the last couple of weeks before My mother died l was not impressed with Forest Lodge . Mum stopped eating and drinking a sign often that dementia is very advanced and close to end stages . Yet l wasn't aloud in until day before My mother died . That's not the worst of it . When mum passed away l was given 24 hours to clean her room out . Not exceptable on a grieving family to face . I complained to management . And was told it was head office policy. Well it's all about the money they make in there not about the residents. Swimming pools residents can't use and gyms also . Staff treated badly . The lists go on. 😖
