I would like to express our families thankyou for the truly wonderful and reassuring experience we have had with kilarney vale community care. From our first contact with the Client Services Manager Michelle, we have received nothing but exceptional support, professional guidance & advice as we found a room for my father. Its been a traumatic past couple of years in which my father has been suffering from a server mobility disease , which he was now unable to live independently at home and or with the help of carers. Michelle, thankyou for making our family laugh. You have the ability to not only remain professional but also make light of the situation at hand. Your able to make new clients and their families feel at ease , and confident about the decisions they are making. . It's so important to have staff like your self working inbthis environment. Once again thankyou. Guy hogan
My first introduction to Opal Care Community I met with Michelle who welcomed me into the home, I felt warmth, friendliness, and professionalism. Deanna (General Manager), I remember meeting you as I walked in through the main door, you introduced yourself, you showed a friendliness, warmth, engagement, sincerity, and you made me feel at ease in your home, and within hours of my husband’s admission our family felt feelings of belonginess, and comfort During Graham’s 21 months in your home, I have met the most beautiful, polite, caring, and professional people working at Killarney Vale Care Community. Graham’s care needs were high, and the wonderful team always treated Graham with friendliness, respect, dignity, and brightened his day when he longed for returning to his home of 40 years. Our family have met so many wonderful employees, and Graham was given superb level of care, and I never worried when I walked out the door because I knew he would be well cared for at Killarney Vale under Deanna’s realm. Every team member who had an involvement with Graham were exceptional in their care delivery and we as a family are so thankful. Deanna, I will miss you and your fantastic team, I hold Killarney Vale Care Community in the highest regard, you are all amazing. Regards Kathy Pettet & Family
I put my mum in this home 7 months ago during Covid. Michelle made the transition so much easier, she was caring and understanding. As customer manager she has a big position and does an excellent job. I find the nurses and staff are attentive and cheerful. I'm glad I made this choice for mum and she's very content.
From the moment we spoke to Michelle, the supervisor, on the phone, in search of an aged care facility, my sisters and I were immediately reassured and hopeful that our precious mother, Valerie Pami, 84, would be looked after in every way possible. Our mother was completely immobile when she arrived from Gosford hospital. The nursing home, made a very traumatic time, that bit easier to deal with. We cannot thank the nurses and nurses aides, enough for their kindness and empathy towards our mum and to us. Kevan, Ivy, Kabita, Daniel, Janine…and every single staff member we met on a daily basis were so lovely. The staff, many of whom came from Phillipino and Indian backgrounds, were highly respectful and caring, some of whom shared their difficult and sad backgrounds with us about their parents and lives. Janine was just beautiful to our mum and to us with her stories and cheerfulness. We could not fault any of the staff. They were just so lovely and very patient. Our mother was always clean and comfortable, no matter what tine we arrived. The room clean, lovely and light and the staff, always professional. It’s an absolutely gorgeous premises with beautiful gardens that our poor mother was unable to access. However, it gave us, as her devoted and grieving daughters, comfort and calmness from the smooth organisation, spaciousness and aesthetics. Deanna, the manager was empathic and helpful throughout our ordeal and Michelle, an absolute gem. We thank everyone for the care our angel mother received in the last two months of her life by the staff of this home.
