The attention, care and understanding is second to none. Although my Grandfather was only with them a very short while, he told me how lovely it was and how comfortable he was. Would highly recommend
My Mother was in the Brighton Montclaire Aged Care facility for 10 months and my 2 sisters and I remain deeply grateful for the quality of love and care she received there. Linda, Janet and all the staff went above and beyond, every single time for anything that Mum needed, and more. We we all so nervous to use an Aged Care Facility due to the bad press that they get, but this one is the exception to the rule. If you have a loved one that you want to have treated with dignity and you want them to be loved and cared for as well as you would at home, this is your place. I cannot recommend it highly enough. We remain indebted to Montclaire for their care, skill, expertise and open mindedness to embrace any suggestion we threw their way. Thank you Montclaire.
I can't speak highly enough of Montclaire and feel very confident in recommending it to anyone looking for the best possible care for their loved one. It was home to my mother for 9 months until she passed away. Exceptional staff who continued to go above and beyond in every way for mum as her quite complex needs changed. Linda, the Director, has put together an incredible group of people and formed a culture where being genuinely respectful of the residents is the norm and going the extra mile is usual.Their level of care was so much more than professional - it was intelligent, responsive and very nuanced. All the staff were open, calm and unhurried and so loving and gentle with my mum - it was beautiful to see. The food was great, the building and gardens are lovely, and the activities and programs offered are wonderful. When Mum first arrived she was almost too well to be a good fit for the existing activity program, and the team took the time to find exactly the right things to really meet her specific needs. Towards the end, as Mum's body was failing, the team would often go to the trouble of getting her the most obscure thing she felt like eating, even though she only took a mouthful. Montclaire also has a secret weapon in Kevin, the miniature Schnauzer therapy dog , who comes every day and is very placid. I felt a very high level of trust in the team and can absolutely recommend Montclaire.
Shameful yet they are irresponsible people that don't take there jobs serious at all. Would never send people here that's for sure and a note to all
A beautiful Heritage Residence, with a great bunch of professional and dedicated staff.
