The worst experience I have ever had working in this facility is always short of staff, and they do not care about the team and a resident at the same time. If you prioritise yourself and take a stand for your safety, they immediately send you a termination letter without mentioning a valid reason. I would never recommend someone to put their close ones in this facility and if anyone is looking for a job, please never apply. You will not get justice if you work and stand for yourself in this facility. The management is abysmal; they do not know how to talk with their staff; they do not want to listen. They just come and yell at you—abysmal management and HR group. please reply to the owner as they (respected person) have blocked me Can you please give me why I cannot meet the higher standard of care? I have always maintained and given a higher standard of care during my shift, and for proof, you can check the webcam, ask residents, and ask coworkers. I do not want to argue with you, whoever is responding to my review, but the point is you are blaming me for not maintaining the standards, which is not valid. To hide management mistakes, I feel accused. And here are the reasons why I cannot support the standards : 1. Not providing enough staff; attending 30 residents at a time with just two teams means the management failed to provide enough staff during a shift, and it is not a one day issue; it's an ongoing problem. And, Yes, I breached a contract just leaving a job informing the in charge and got terminated while trying to address the issue at head office. 2. If a resident has a fall and, unfortunately, they will have sudden death, will you be able to say yes? This is our mistake because we haven't provided enough staff, or will you blame the AIN or RN for not meeting the standard? AND I TOOK A STAND FOR MY SAFETY I do not have any intention to ruin your facility's reputation. If I intended to ruin your facility's reputation, I would have directly gone to the union before taking action. Do not blame without knowing anything. I can proudly say I had worked hard during the shift, met all the standards of care, and always provided person-centred care even with a short of staff. Lots of love to all residents Thanks Kajol
I am giving Moran group a one star only because I am not able to give it a zero. Worst place to ever work in. Very bad management, staff are literally scared of management. They wont allow staff to take a day off even when they are sick, manager would threaten them to take panadol and get back to work. If you are a casual staff and have certain availabilities they would roster you on the days/ times you arent available and force you to work on those days and if you don't they wouldnt give you any shifts. If they are short staffed they wouldnt bother about giving you staff especially during a night shift taking good care away from residents. I worked there for 3 months, worst 3 months of my life. Would never recommend anyone to work there.
I am very disappointed with Moran Engadine, my mum was a resident for 18 months till her death 23rd August 2018. She did have very good care at Moran while she was alive. When mum died I heard nothing from any of the management, there was no representatives from Moran at her funeral. There was no flowers, no card and not even a phone call. Mum was a living person and she was supposed to be part of the family there at Moran.
Precious Pats visit Moran Engadine every fortnight and we love to see the joy that Honey, Sophie & Lana bring to the faces of all the lovely Residents.
I would never ever put any relative of mine in this facility after what we witnessed happen to a friend of ours. Lack of care, poor quality food, not enough staff, and our friend who paid $500,000 did not survive for very long. Requests by our friend to have a doctor come to see him were ignored he told us each time we visited. Complaint to head office did not get acknowledged.
