My mum is so fortunate to have a placement at Piper House at Dapto NSW. Such wonderful staff and facilities. Fun activities, everything from birdwatching to bus trips. Every resident looks very happy and well cared for.
My sister was a resident from July to May this year when she passed away. We her family had found the staff so loving and always caring for my sister who suffered dementia and the staff so patient with her. In the last week of her life we held a constant vigil beside her bed and were blessed by the loving care of the carers, the RN,s and kitchen staff who provided food for us throughout those last days. We hold wonderful memories from this gracious and so helpful facility. We thank all the staff for their love and care towards Betty Unwin, our sister during her time in Dapto.
A truly great Nursing home, tremendous staff, caring attentive and generous with residents.
We had to put my father in care a few months ago. My brother and I were a little hesitant after the horror stories everyone has heard about aged care facilities. Well ... Not this place , the staff are all so friendly , call you by name and really try to get to know you ,always telling you updates /changes and everything that has been going on to do with your loved ones. The place is getting a little tired but still very clean through out , renovations are underway in the very near future apparently. They all go out of their way to make it as comfortable and as homely as possible. Meals are great , rooms and amenities clean. They are always organising & doing activities , always asking about what the likes and interests of the patients are. They have sing alongs & concerts , and organise outings and bus trips for them ! Well done and thankyou to everyone at St Lukes , we are so happy to know dad is being well cared for ... Regards Peter.
Great, nursing home, well maintained, residents have lots of options regards involving in activities.
