The Residents Experience rating shows what current residents at Ridleyton Greek Home for the Aged think of the food, staff, care and more. These ratings are from the 2024 Aged Care Quality Commission Survey.
Below average customer service with unhelpful staff. Staff can be rude and obstructive in allowing you to see relatives. Incredibly short visiting hours.
Management isn’t good. Carers are not supporting. Worst organisation to apply for job.
Substandard conditions. Extremely poor menu, dilapidated wheelchairs. Large percentage of nursing staff speak English as a second language and are unable to communicate medical issues in a clear and concise manner. Notifications never done in writting despite multiple requests. Would highly recommend all non emergency notifications be in writting to prevent miscommunication. Unable to find a Greek speaking staff member overnight on many occasions. On a positive note. Carers have shown love and kindness to the residents and do what they can in the conditions they are required to work.
Staff go above and beyond expectations. Would highly recommend Ridleyton Greek Home if you are looking for aged care for a Greek relative. They have Greek food, activities in the Greek language, they even have a beautiful Greek church.
some friends of ours have just been admitted to this home and I must admit it really looks lovely I'm not seen an aged care as well run as clean and as friendly as this place I don't want to go into one of them but my friends appear to be quite content
