Past employer. Lack of staff less of care.. Dementia staff is stress by management fill bed with any resident even not suitable for the care the home can provides.
We would like to thank the amazing staff for the wonderful care of our father during his respite stay. In particular, Ben and Geetu were outstanding and gave such wonderful care and comfort to us all; Kristy was incredibly accommodating and supportive during our urgent time of need and we found all the staff lovely. Many, many thanks!
Our family now has both parents in Springtime and have found the home extremely suitable. The staff are very friendly, helpful, compassionate, trustworthy and attentive to each residents needs. The Centre’s Management offer outstanding service through professionalism. Knowledge of the resident and their needs is evident in communication with both residents and family members. Any concerns are dealt with in a timely manner. The Clinical Coordinator is always available to assist with any personal matter of concern or to provide and or update information. Personal Carers treat our parents with respect and dignity. The litmus test in any aged care facility will be the food service delivered on a daily basis. Springtime provides good nutritious meals daily and caters for the needs of the residents in their care. The Life Style coordinator and assistants are a valuable asset to the facility. Activities are organised on a daily basis to suit the needs of the residents. All residents and family members are encouraged to participate in activities. This contributes to the warm and friendly atmosphere at Springtime. Our parents are extremely happy and feel safe, secure and well catered for. Springtime strives to make the atmosphere very family friendly so that all the residents can feel included. We understand this is not a hospital, and recognise that Springtime is meeting the benchmarks for aged care.
Honestly I still cannot get my head around how someone that was fine 2 days earlier dies??? No questions were answered. Staff and Drs are useless. Do not recommend this place.
I would have rated them in the minus if I could. Had to take our parent out of there as due to their constant drugging they deteriorated rapidly. Wouldn't recommend this nursing home to anyone. They discouraged family from visiting, they did not cater for any dietary requirement and resident's toilet smelt like a urinal.
