It's a good place but let's face it nobody wants to be in there.
I volunteer five days a week here, so obviously I highly recommend RSL Care, both at Myrtle Bank and Angle Park. They are nursing homes for Veterans and non Veterans, with some independent living accommodation at Myrtle Bank. The atmosphere at both locations is very much like being in one big happy family.
A great place for veterans & civilian people & they allow the residents to smoke. Joe is very comfortable there with his own room with an ensuite.
Excellent care for my 101 year old Mum
Staff generally unpleasant including the CE0.Very large turnover of senior staff over a short period of time.Dementia residents given very little stimulation.Moved mother to a much better home. The food was disgraceful and mum was treated disgracefully and her room was filthy as we discovered on moving her.The marble table was caked in sugar attracting ants just disgusting. The main problem is CEO Nathan Klinge who as a former member of the Army does not have the skill set to run a nursing home. HE is belligerent and uncaring and the War Veterans Home needs a CEO with a different skill set. need
