We came a long way for a final goodbye visit for my daughters dying grandmother. We asked staff to wake her up and nurse said no we don't want to wake her up she's dying. We found staff to be very rude and unhelpful, even right from the entry. We said we would never like to visit there again.
my father was living here for 2 months..the staff were lovely and the place was nice..the problem was Darylin Cowling the manager..since my father arrived there i was spoken to terribly by her making me fearful for my fathers care..we had a problem with my sister and a guardianship was put in to organise visiting hours..that is all..no other guardian..Darylin called me a few times angrily accusiing me of lying about a guardianship and said to me on 3 ocassions that my fathers old nursing home where happy to be rid of him and she had no choice but to keep him now..my father is a lovely patient and when i reported this behaviour of Darylin to my fathers old nursing home they were very angry about her words and i also reported it the the guardian she also said that Darylin was making a mountain out of a mole hill..the worst part is my dad was airlifted to Adelaide dying and as i found him a bed in a nursing home in Adelaide they contacted her for his files and Darrylin bad mouthed our family causing the home to reject him..I found her very rude and i was truly frightened for my fathers safety knowing that he was living there..she is two faced and has a cold heart i will be taking this complaint as far as i can
