If you happen to read a bad review on here by PIPER LEE she is an adopted relative of mine. She has no respect for the elderly or people in general and has a very rude and obnoxious mouth. My grandmother was a resident at St Basil's and never had a bad word to say about the facility and would often comment on how lovely and caring all the staff were.
Incredible home and staff! The place has always been welcoming every time I've visited, and the team goes above and beyond. They have been a massive help and our family is very thankful for their care.
I have been working at St. Basil's Miranda for almost 6 months now and have had an exceptional experience. All of the care staff are lovely and treat residents and coworkers fairly. The residents are also very kind and easy to talk to. I'm excited to continue working here.
Admin ladies are usually very rude and demanding with little to no compassion towards visitors. Most care staff are lovely but some treat residents like psych ward patients and go against their wishes. Be careful with who you trust, it almost seems like residents are in a prison.
I am disgusted to read such a review about St Basil's Miranda, which reads like someone is holding a grudge and writing a review a year later about care that happen in 2016! It doesn’t seem right. At Miranda, I find the staff are helpful, caring, loving and more than willing to help with all matters relating to the care of my father and any residents there. I attend the resident's meeting, and I witness how dedicated the staff and management is to help residents in the home be happy and well cared for. Any issues or concerns I had was resolved in a timely manner. Staff go above and beyond for the residents and their families.
