About our home
Stella Maris is an aged care home refurbished in 2013, featuring 72 single rooms each with an ensuite bathroom. It spans three levels, accessible by both lift and stairs, and includes various common areas. The facility boasts a state-of-the-art physiotherapy department equipped with a walking machine, parallel rails, massage table, and passive exercise accessories.
Residents have access to complimentary activities including bus trips, arts and crafts, movie days, sing-alongs, and cooking classes. Stella Maris offers pastoral care and weekly masses welcoming all denominations. The home also has a cinema and activity center that can accommodate over 120 people for various events such as bush Christmases, concerts, and ballroom dancing exhibitions. My father last year and my friend this year best care, dignity and support for family and friends who visit. End of life support is done with compassion and dignity.
My Dad has been at SM for more than a year and we couldn’t speak highly enough of the entire experience.
I am tempted not to write this review, because everyone will want their relative to stay in Stella Maris. The place is simply amazing. The food, level of care, cleanliness and professionalism is second-to-none. Oh, then there's those multi-million Dollar views. My mother-in-law is living in Stella Maris and she has blossomed. There's probably a good reason why Stella Maris lacks a website. They just don't need it. Shhh. Don't tell anyone.

No Accommodation fee for respite
You will only pay the Basic daily fee and may pay an additional services fee.
Concessional residents welcome
Stella Maris Residential Aged Care supports eligible government funded residents with subsidised fees.
Instead of paying a RAD you can choose to pay a Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) which is a non-refundable daily fee, based on the room price and the maximum permissable interest rate set by the Department of Health and Aged Care.
