Had a tour recently with Kathryn and she was extremely helpful and informative. The facilities were amazing and there was a genuine warmth as you walked around.
Absolutely terrible they kept my grandma virtually like a prisoner in her room and 1 of the carers was hurting grandma. Do not take anyone to this place, they seem nice but they are not. They now wont give my father information about his own mum.
Absolutely horrible working environment within in both buildings. Bullying, harassment from both staff AND management. Suzanne & Tracey the “general managers” there picks their favourites and lets those staff members run a complete down-grading, demeaning, self-absorbed house of horrors, makes you feel you’re back in school. Extreme high staff turnover over from unresolved harassment and bullying. DO NOT WORK THERE!!! you WILL regret it!! (I hope you read this Suzanne and Tracey you are all horrible people!!!)
Great work Tingira Hills Team. Thank you so much for arranging and hosting weekly Zoom meetings between mum (Tingira Hills resident) and family during multiple covid lockdowns. We so miss seeing mum in person and greatly appreciate the efforts of the Leisure Team (Elizabeth, Al, Peter, Leanne and Maria) in providing a Zoom alternative. Tingira Hills have made Zoom an easy and highly effective way for family locally and overseas to communicate with mum and she is engaged and responsive, especially with a headset in addition to a screen. Also, a big thank you to the dedicated staff and nurses who help mum all day and night, tending to all of her complex needs to a high standard that we cannot possibly provide safely at home. Thank you also to reception staff (such as Natalie) who always provide a warm welcome and are so helpful on arrival and over the phone. Please keep up all the good work you do in caring for our loved ones.
Elderly family friend has been at this facility for some time now and she is very happy there. Having worked in aged care myself, I am always impressed at the standard of care provided at Tingira Hills every time I visit. I have nothing but praise for the staff. Considerate, respectful and nothing is ever too much trouble. They go out of their way to make the facility feel like home and not like a hospital. Actual facility itself is modern and beautifully furnished and the food is great.
