I have had experience with Waminda Care facility for a number of years now, as a resident visitor. Although the facility is not as new as some others, the staff are very kind and caring, and I have always found them to be respectful of the residents. They provide a range of activities in which residents may choose to participant if they like. Over the years staff have gone out of their way to go the extra mile.

When Mum was first admitted to Waminda, I thought it would not be for long. She was very frail and ill. Eighteen months later and now 94 years old, she is happy and very well. The staff are fantastic, so happy and friendly - Mum says meals are great and maybe we will get her in the pool soon! It is like a cruise ship - go down for meals, all laundry and cleaning done, "shore" excursions and lots of fellow passengers! Thanks to all at Waminda for all you do for her, and giving me peace of mind knowing that she is safe and very well cared for.

Staff are very welcoming and friendly, and the facilities are modern, clean and spacious. I now don't have to worry about my mum living on her own because all aspects of her care - medical, meals, socialising, and personal grooming are all taken care of by qualified staff. They are always checking in on her, which makes it even better than a hotel!

Thank you so much to the wonderful staff at Waminda. Mum has dementia and we were very nervous about how she would be in care. They have made her feel so comfortable that she is very happy to live at Waminda. The staff are so patient and kind even under trying circumstances from her dementia sometimes. Since moving from home Mum has improved in her health and her quality of life with the care that Waminda staff gives.

Waminda is comfortable, well fitted out, and has a pleasant atmosphere. The staff are quiet and personable, and most important, the inmates appear to be happy and comfortable.
